Dim Progress Check #10 - “Rory’s New Hair-Do”
I have spent the last couple of days working on the hair sculpt for our character Rory. Here is how my progress went.
I’ve updated some scenes of our 2D animatic to reflect some story changes that Andy and I have made. Our story has once again placed more of a focus on our character Rory, who now has an arc that we feel helps him stand out as a character.
For the first time since starting work in Unreal, I have backed up our project. This is something I will do at least every two weeks. Some difficulties with our lab computers lead me to the realization that backups are important.
I intend to draw out our new climax scene, where the workers confront the Ring Master on the stage. Hopefully, that will be the last thing I have to draw for the 2D animatic and I can shift my focus to the cinematography of the 3D environment inside Unreal Engine.
